Chrysalis Lab helps courageous leaders co-create solutions that drive social change
THE NEED
The culture of social change demands metamorphosis.
Today, in our communities and companies, conditions demand that leaders transform their efforts — and themselves—to move beyond calcified approaches that continue to fall short.
Today’s leaders must be prepared to face our most stubborn challenges and respond creatively to drive transformation and inspire real progress. Chrysalis Lab is here to help create this new reality.
OUR APPROACH
Connection, Collaboration, and Creation
Above all else, Chrysalis Lab believes that different results require a fundamentally different approach. The Chrysalis Lab way is a reflection of decades of diverse social sector experiences: on the ground, in the boardroom, and in partnership.
What we value:
- ConnectionProgress begins when we feel seen and heard. Connection makes real collaboration possible.
- HonestyWe believe transformation starts with honesty about where we are relative to where we want to go.
- FlexibilityEvery client, partner, and problem is different. So our process must be responsive and nimble.
- IterationBecause we reject pre-supposed answers, we encourage constant iteration in co-creating solutions.
- Diversity of VoicesWe seek insight from everywhere and expect experts to emerge from unlikely places.
- CreativityWe value creativity in all its forms as a catalyst for powerful solutions.
How We Work:
Chrysalis Lab’s engagements are varied and customizable. While no two collaborations are the same, they typically involve some combination of:
- Research and synthesis across disparate perspectives
- Authentic and creative community engagement
- Strategy development
- Program design
- Leadership development and coaching
Our work draws from frameworks and methods including Human-Centered Design, Adaptive Leadership, and Equity-Centered Community Design.
An approach we frequently employ is the Social Lab. Our social labs are multi-session “safe spaces” for collaboration, designed to tap collective intelligence and drive innovation. They are systemic in focus, experimental in nature, and built around a diverse group of participants. Each social lab is designed to challenge assumptions, broaden perspectives and spark insights. Here’s how it works.
What can radical transformationmean for you?
- A move from good intentions to driving progress.
- From top-down solutions to shared, sustainable change.
- From solo striving to partnerships, alliances and movements.
